OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFICIENCY (OEE)

The Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) is a ratio that measures the production efficiency of industrial machinery. The advantage of the OEE metric over other ratios is that it measures, in a single indicator, all the basic parameters in industrial production: availability, efficiency and quality.

The OEE module obtains this indicator through a waterfall discounted time graph that identifies, from calendar time, each of the inoperability times that occur in a logical-functional block or for a logical-functional configuration.

The greatest advantage of the RMESĀ® Suite OEE module is the possibility of visualizing these interruption times for a logical-functional configuration, which is the basis for conducting a system analysis of interruptions propagated from each node toward the parent configuration.
